Gabrielle Lopresto
Owner and Principal Designer
​​A Chicago native and lifelong artist, Gabi leads AVATAR DESIGN STUDIO with over 20 years of experience in architectural interior design. She effortlessly blends her background in computer science, art, and design to create spaces that are both visually stunning and deeply personal. Known for her dedication to thoughtful design and impeccable craftsmanship, Gabrielle’s multi-disciplinary approach ensures that every project reflects her clients' unique tastes and needs. Her talent for combining custom architectural elements with extraordinary finishes consistently results in spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful, tailored to the people who live in them.

Gabi joined AVATAR DESIGN STUDIO in 2008 as a Junior Designer, quickly advancing to Design Director before acquiring the firm in 2014. Her previous experience includes product merchandising for luxury brands like Carolina Herrera and Chanel, managing residential exterior remodeling projects, and providing design support for high-end kitchen and bath projects at Waterworks in Winnetka, IL.

Gabi lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, daughter, and three dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, camping, fishing, golfing and Chicago Cubs baseball. Whether she’s perfecting her swing or untangling her line (again), she’s always looking for new inspiration in the beauty of her surroundings.
